Yeah, there’s a lot of Nanny in Boneclaw Mother, but there’s a lot of Granny, too. In fact, I think Boneclaw Mother may actually be an Ogg/Weatherwax hybrid And if that doesn’t scare you, I officially give up.
More Granny than Nanny I would say.

Granny: Prob’ly true.” from Carpe Jugulum
Yeah, but as Nanny says, she’s only nice compared to Esme, which isn’t hard. It’s in Maskerade. I’d look it up, but my husband is sleeping in the room with my Pratchett. 😛
I like the comments here, but can we lay off the Pratchett references? I like Discworld, too, but it’s like hanging out with that guy who can only talk in Monty Python quotes.
As for me I’d be VERY respectful of either Boneclaw Mother OR She-Is. But in that order….
hehe…. Wouldn’t that just an interesting squabble to see…
Boneclaw Mother Vs She-Is.
Maybe that’s why she’s so old. She-Is-Fiercer isn’t fiercer enough to take her.
The more I see (and hear) of Boneclaw Mother, the more I’m reminded of Nanny Ogg, sweet old lady and undisputed matriarch of the Lancre Highlands.

Am I some Claptrap?

Magenta — lol 🙂
Okay, Boneclaw mother is my new favorite charactar
Boneclaw Mother makes me crack up every time she pounds Grim Eyes’ dignity into the dust.
Yay Pratchett references!
@Magenta: You made me laugh out loud.
The more we see of Boneclaw Mother, the more of a cool old lady she is.
